crop night!

Yesterday my friends visited me for our monthly crop night. We stimulate each other in making the most beautiful cards, atc's and scrap pages. These are my atc:

Gisteravond waren mijn vriendinnen weer op bezoek voor onze maandelijkse crop avond. We stimuleren elkaar om de mooiste creaties te maken. Dit zijn mijn atc:

I tried brayering with a big and juicy pad for a change. On different kinds of papers. I think the glossy paper came out best, don't you think? The colors are just more vivid. The blue boy is a collage of stamps and colors. I did use the Ranger white gel ink pen the give some accents in the corners.

Till next time! Tot de volgende keer!

3 atc

Hello everybody!
Almost 3 weeks ago since I last posted. I really should be updating more often :) I have been busy with some atc cards:

It's a connected three! Too bad the scan won't show the beautiful golden shine of the Perfect Pearls I mixed with Distress re-inker Tattered Rose for the background.
You know the technique? Take a mini-mister and mix some re-ink color with a little bit of Perfect Pearl and water and start spraying! If you have the craftsheet on your workdesk then you can dab up the extra spray around the cards and have some colored cards ready for a quick atc.
Stamping with the gorgeous "Gerbera" sheet from Chapel Road. Added a little flower with some golden color thread and look at them! Aren't they lovely? I'm sure I will lose these darlings soon in a trade.

These cards were made for a swap. I used the same spray technique. But this time I mixed Adirondack re-inker cranberry with pearl Perfect Pearls giving it a mottled pearly/red background. (I'm sure that wasn't good english but I could not find any other combination of words to describe the effect of spraying with ink and Perfect Pearls!)

And now for something completely different! Alcohol inks for the backgrounds (different colors on all three) Stamped directly on the background with black Staz-On ink. I used a punch in the corners because these are for a corner-punch-swap :) And yes, I admit... I'm guilty, I made a mistake in the lower right corner of the first atc! That's why that corner is cut off.

That's all for now people. Cya next time!

Linda
