20 Feestelijke kaarten

Hallo bloggers!

Hello bloggers! I have been very busy this week. A friend of mine will celebrate her 40 year membership and I asked the party committee if it was ok for me to create the cards for the tables. They said Yes, of course! They know me by now so it had to be something special this time! The cards are made from cardstock Burgundy and the dessin paper is Basic Grey Scarlet Ruby. I made some yellow flowers with the Cuttlebug en the numbers 40 with Coluzzle. She is not the only celebrant so I bought two candles and altered them with the paper I had left. (you always have small edges of paper left after a project like this!) A small box of matches, altered with the same scraps to go with the candles and there you have it, a perfect little gift! In front is an envelope made with the same paper for the gift voucher she will receive. Doesn`t it look great when everything fits together?
(btw the backsides are also covered in dessin paper pieces.....!)

And then it was time for something completely different. Two Chirstmas cards. Inchie stamps from Inkadinkadoo, colored with Distress ink Fired Brick and Broken China. Inchies punched out and glued to a black square. The edge of the cards are embossed with a Cuttlebug embossing edge. The inchies are sparingly highlighted with Stickles Silver.

I am looking for more examples of simple but elegant Christmas cards. So if you made a Christmas card, please post a comment with your link!
